Really Universal Jul 02, 2008 This was a great purchase. Very easy to install and work as advertised. Great Price too. I would recommend to others.
Good speaker mounts Dec 21, 2007 Work great, good price. They are plastic so don't put too big a speaker on them.

Installation is straight forward and does what it should Oct 29, 2007 The mounting kit is easy to install and works pretty well. It does sag a little even though the speakers I have are the small Bose speakers. I guess coz I installed it on the side (wall) instead of coming down from the ceiling.
Overall I am happy with it.

Pretty good speaker bracket Jul 25, 2007 I used these to mount a pair of lightweight (3 lb) surround speakers to drywall. They hold the speakers securely enough and provide sufficient adjustability to point them in the direction I need. The fit and finish are good... no noticeable seams or burrs in the plastic. It's impressive that they include all the hardware needed for ceiling or wall mount in studs or drywall. This provides some additional flexibility to play with your speaker positions before installation.
Now, the cons that kept me from giving 5 stars...
- You pay for all the extra hardware and flexibility whether you use it or not.
- Adjusting the speaker direction is a bit tedious... you have to loosen 3 different set screws, rotate/pivot the 3 associated joints, then try to hold the speaker steady while re-tightening the screws. A ball-and-socket design would be simpler to adjust.
- As others have pointed out, it feels like you have to over-tighten the set screws to keep the speaker from moving.
- Even when the screws are tight, the bracket still wobbles a bit.
These last points aren't serious problems for me because my speakers are light and are near the ceiling where they won't be bumped out of adjustment. However if your speakers are a) on the heavy side or b) mounted in high-traffic areas, I'd suggest looking at the Vantage Point BKSP-B, which is designed to support 25 lbs (versus 8 lbs for the SATS-B).

Work great! May 07, 2007 While these are recommended for Bose speakers (smaller than my Yamaha speakers) these brackets have no problem holding onto my larger speakers. They come with numerous mounting options for the speaker, and even more options for putting them on the wall or ceiling. I had to mount some speakers on a drywall only wall - no studs - and these mounts came with the hardware to do it. They have removable extensions so you can have them come off the wall 2" or 6" (roughly). These are great, strong, and a great deal. Read the other reviews. My surround sound system is: Yamaha NS-P1600 (Amzn's reseller here is bad at shipping (it is not Amzn selling them), so buy elsewhere). Buy you can check out the specs to see my speakers' size and compare to yours.
