Great Design Jan 10, 2006
By David I bought this for my new 20" LCD and I am very pleased. I was looking at the Omni Mount, which is about the same price. There were a couple of bad reviews for that one so I tried this one. I am glad I did. I am sure that is a good product, but this has a much better design. Unless the wall stud you are mounting the mount in is exactly in the middle of the spot you intend to mount the TV, you won't be happy with a cantilever type mount, pushed back flush against the wall, the cantilever mount will always rest the TV exactly where the stud is. This product allows much greater flexibility. The TV can be "offset" from the mounting base on either side so that you can center it on the wall when flush. It also does not have the "drooping" issue the reviews for the cantilever mount mentioned. The mount is very well made, I think it weighs more than the TV, and is attractive. If you want, you can even hide the wires in the tubes of the mount. My only complaint, mine didn't come with the mounting screws, but for less than $1.00 I bought them at Home Depot. I am very pleased and strongly recommend that you consider this mount for your TV.

Rock solid Nov 21, 2006
By W. Reeves
"Survivor fan"
I investigated several of the articulated wall mounts for my 26" Samsung LCD before finally choosing this one. I could not be happier. The hardware feels solid upon unpacking and solidly holds the TV after attaching to the wall.
A couple of nice little things that make a difference with the kit:
1.The assorted mounting screws are in individual compartments of a longer see-through plastic roll. No need to dump all of them out of a single pouch and sort through them hoping you're choosing the correct fasteners.
2. The Allen head wrench used to secure the cover plate to the wall bracket has a groove just below the end of the wrench. This allows the wrench to tilt slightly away from the wall while tightening the set screw so you can twirl it into place with a smooth motion.
3. The socket wrench used to tighten the joints of the arm is heavy duty, not thin rolled metal.
A couple of things that make a difference with the installation:
1. The wall mounting screws are Phillips head - but you'd have to have wrists of steel to twist such screws deep into a wall stud. Save time and substitute 1/4" diameter, 3 inch long, hex headed lag screws instead. All 4 are less than a dollar at Home Depot and you can use your ratchet wrench to do the tightening.
2. Make sure you have agreement with your significant other where the TV will be placed before you start drilling holes. Cut a big piece of cardboard to the size of the TV dimensions and hold it in place so they can be sure it "looks right" there where you've planned.
3. Study the manufacturer's dimensions of the wall mount and find your wall studs BEFORE you order the mount. Not all studs are placed right where you need them to be in order to put the TV where you want. You may have to use another brand of mount that stretches closer or further.

Great Mount, Great Price! Aug 29, 2006
By Amazoner
"Put it in the cart, almost never buy."
This mount is simple and easy to use. It works great for my 23 Inch Samsung LNR monitor at work. I can move the monitor wherever I need to.
I just bought a second one for my 32 inch Samsung LNR at home. This mount is good for TV's up to 40 inches.
When the TV is "flush" against the wall it is 3.69" off of the wall, pretty sweet.
I don't know the weight limit of this mount, but it is plenty heavy duty for my 23 inch LCD. There are places to hide the cables inside the mount and it is very clean looking. There are accesable adjustment screws so that over time, you can keep things tight.
I will post pictures if anyone wants them, just write in the message board below.
**Update** I recently bought a second of the same mount for my TV at home (32 inch Samsung LNR LCD) and it did NOT come with the right adapters to fit. I called thier customer service and they told me that i could buy the larger VESA plate at Sears... It was convenient, so I went and bought it. It was about $30. Now that I have it all installed, I would likely have bought a different mount for my TV at home, because I do not have a stud right in the middle of my wall--so I have to use the mount to swing the TV off of the wall and center it. I wish it could be flush against the wall. Bottom line is find your Studs before you buy...

Great mount for my 17inch Magnavox Mar 22, 2006
By John Rich This mount works great. I used the mount to hold a 17 inch magnavox with built in DVD, on the wall in front of our bath tub. Works great. I can push it flat against the wall for tub viewing or pull it out and angle it toward the rest of the room.
The only issue is that the joints sometimes get loose after alot of moving back and forth. I keep a socket and wrentch in a basket by the tub, so I can tighten anytime easily. It's a very easy thing to do.
