 It is what it is, an overpriced cable Nov 13, 2008
HDMI cable works fine and actually feels solid and not cheap, the connections are gold plated, the included USB cable can charge a controller from a good distance away from the PS3, a lot further then the cables orginially included with the console, but I now have 4 of this type of USB cable seeing as you can't buy just a HDMI cable from Sony. It is what it is, picture quality is great and can run at a full 1080p, but one problem is the price. Why do companies push their consoles as next generation HD gaming then turn around and charge you an arm and a leg to get their console to display true HD. Thats like a company selling the worlds fastest car and when they deliver it to your house on a flatbed truck only then do you realize tires aren't included.

Don't need to buy this cable. Any HDMI cable will work. You can find other cables that work just as well for 1/4 the price this costs.

 Good, but pricey and outdated Oct 07, 2008
This is a good digital cable with a very strong and protected outer mesh, but it's an HDMI 1.3 cable that works just as well (no better, no worse) than every other HDMI 1.3 cable I own. I used this for a while, and was satisfied with the results, but ultimately upgraded to a cheaper HDMI 1.3 Category 2 cable and haven't looked back.

Top Quality HDMI Cable Sep 22, 2008
I read all the review on HDMI cables at Amazon.com and settled for the Sony brand. I've always liked Sony products and was not disappointed in what I got. It has a wire loom-like covering and just shows quality all around. Just for a few bucks more I would settle for this product again. I use it for my Viewsonic VX2835 HD connection to a PS3.

This is a high quality product which produces excellent sound and video there is no need to waste money on the Monster brand name.
